This is a shadow puppet animation inspired by Malaysia's traditional puppet shows. We wanted to take a modern twist on the illustrations while still incorporating the light projection on cloth technique from the olden days. This animation was shown at Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin's concert tour in Asia/Europe.
Below is a recording from the rehearsal of the concert. It is projected on to a two adjacent pieces of cloth that makes a 120 degree angle.
