This is a project by Rebell Produksjonsbyrå. I worked as the motion designer for this project. It is an intro video for Peder Elias for one of his performances.
The butterfly is actually a digital drawing. I started off with the much more detailed butterfly but it didn't look as whimsical when animated. So a butterfly with less black and more color was used in the end to create this animation.
